Yann Martel

Thanks to the Dollar Tree, I’m reading The Facts Behind the Helsinki Roccamatios, a strangely titled collection of four stories by Yann Martel, who also wrote The Life of Pi. This kind of meditative, postmodern fiction doesn’t normally attract me, but Martel’s fluid prose and human sympathy make his work well worth reading.

Have you finished? How was it? I loved “Life of Pi” and have “Beatrice and Virgil: A Novel” on my reading list.

Yes, I finished the book. The Roccamatios story is the most memorable.
